Our Policies

As ZİRVE CANDY & ÇİKOLATA, in the chocolate and dragée production sector in which we operate, we commit to following modern technological developments, prioritizing communication and training to improve our employees' knowledge and skills, meeting our customers' needs and expectations by ensuring hygienic conditions at every stage of production, communicating and/or requesting food safety information to and from the public, consumers and suppliers, offering high-quality, safe and hygienic products; in this regard, complying with legal regulations, the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000 and BRC FOOD standards, continuously improving its effectiveness, food safety and quality culture, and ensuring the implementation of the sub-policies below.

Hygiene Policy

To identify and control physical, chemical and biological food safety hazards at every stage of the products we offer to our customers, and to ensure that they are produced in compliance with health and hygiene rules.

Physical Appearance and Jewelry Policy

Entry to production areas without a protective apron and hairnet is not allowed. No jewelry may be worn while working in production areas. Aprons must be clean and hairnets must be used so as to fully cover the ears and hair. The cleanliness of aprons is ensured by the practices implemented by our company.

Smoking and Eating Policy

Smoking and eating or drinking food is prohibited in our production and storage areas and in changing rooms. Warning signs have been posted in visible locations. Visitors and subcontractors are ensured to comply with this rule.

Production Area Access Policy

Our visitors and suppliers enter our production areas by wearing special aprons and hairnets and by being subject to a visitor control form.

Foreign Matter Policy

Glass, breakable plastic materials, wood and wire materials that may cause physical contamination have been removed from use in our production areas. Existing glass and breakable plastic materials, as well as metal equipment, are protected. In cases where their use is mandatory, special forks are used and regularly inspected.

Employee Health Checks

Employees undergo periodic health examinations. In cases of infectious disease, upper respiratory tract infections, diarrhea, nausea, coughing and sneezing, the employee is removed from the production area by the production manager and referred for a health check.

Imitation and Adulteration Policy

Under no circumstances does our company engage in imitation or adulteration in the products it manufactures. It also selects its suppliers according to imitation/adulteration risk assessment and does not work with suppliers who have attempted imitation or adulteration.

Halal Policy

We commit to producing and distributing our halal-certified products in accordance with TS OIC SMIIC 1 and GSO 2055-1:2015 standards. The materials used in the products will be halal-certified by the relevant institutions and free from prohibited parts of animal origin. The products will be produced, stored and distributed in a clean and hygienic environment, safe for consumer use, with food contact practices compliant with national food safety requirements. Compliance with the Halal Assurance System and all requirements related to the production of halal products are met. For this purpose, a Halal Team composed of managers from different departments has been established, and the sustainability of the conditions is monitored through regular inspections by the relevant institutions. We commit to offering halal products to our consumers by continuously protecting and improving our TS OIC SMIIC 1 and GSO 2055-1:2015 Halal Assurance System across our supply chain, and to managing process, ingredient, supplier and formulation changes in accordance with standard operating procedures. HALAL POLICY

We undertake to produce and distribute our halal-certified products in accordance with the following principles:

  • The ability to correctly interpret and apply the TS OIC SMIIC 1 and GSO 2055-1:2015 standards will be developed.
  • Materials used in products will be halal-certified by the relevant institutions under TS OIC SMIIC 1 and GSO 2055-1:2015 and free from prohibited animal-origin components.
  • Products will be safe for consumer use and food-contact practices will comply with national food safety requirements.
  • Products will be produced, stored and distributed in a clean and hygienic environment, in line with Islamic sensitivities and values.
  • All requirements related to compliance with the Halal Assurance System and the production of halal products are met.

We have established a HALAL Team consisting of managers from various departments for all matters related to halal certification. We are regularly audited by the relevant institutions to ensure that the correct conditions are maintained.

We undertake to continuously maintain and improve our TS OIC SMIIC 1 and GSO 2055-1:2015 Halal Assurance System throughout our supply chain and to offer halal products to consumers. Process, ingredient, supplier and formulation changes will be managed and complied with through standard operating procedures.
